The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) tests students’ reasoning based on knowledge and skills developed through their course work. It measures their ability to analyze and solve problems by applying what they have learned in school. SAT is taken by students who aspire to go ahead for undergraduate (Bachelor’s) studies in USA, Canada etc. SAT scored students would get more freedom to choose college and universities. USA offered scholarships for SAT appeared students. The SAT is developed by College Board and administered by ETS. The SAT is a paper based test administered on several dates each year.

The SAT has three sections: Reading, Writing and Language and Mathematics. (Optional Essay)
